It has been awhile since I’ve shot an Op:Love session. As a matter of fact, this is the first Op:Love session since I gave birth to my youngest son, Elijah. Needless to say, I was pretty excited about it. This session was extra special because Susan had contacted me back at the end of summer to book me for her husband, Brandon’s, homecoming in January. An unfortunate turn of events made me unable to attend the homecoming, which I was pretty upset about since it was to be my first homecoming and a momentous occasion for Susan and Brandon. So finally getting to meet this couple was quite and honor. It’s pretty rare that I get to photograph a couple without any children and it always throws me for a loop when we are done shooting after just 30-45 minutes. The session went great, even though I had them freezing on the beach in February. Turns out, they are pretty awesome people. Totally a couple that I could see Nick and I hanging out with. I love it when I go into a session meeting a client and leave feeling like I have made a friend or two. So, enough of my rambling…time for pictures.
Susan and Brandon, here is your sneak peek.

Beautiful couple and captures Whitney. You would never know they were freezing!
beautiful job as always!
Thanks Ang
Well done! That locale is fantastic, really. Wish I live closer to you to get shots like these for myself!
Yeah, it’s awesome that the beaches are deserted part of the year. In all reality it isn’t THAT cold either, so perfect shooting conditions. You should come visit when you come to the Carolinas
Very pretty Whitney! I love the light in the first one…..beach shots are my fave!
Thanks, it’s hard when you live at the beach. Trying to keep beach shots fresh is a challenge. Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere out west for all those fields and such. I guess the grass is always greener…..
love the first one whit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Thanks Irina
Awesome pics!!!
Stunning, as always, Whitney! I can’t even decide which one is my favorite. #1 captures such great emotion. I love the detail in #2. And #3 is just such a gorgeous shot of them!
Aw, thanks so much Lori!
